Feedback:     Yes, I would really like some. Tell how you like the map
and if you would like a new version (drsmlvs1.* ?). What
changes should this have, more players?

Planet:       Venus
Size:         1280x1280 (Very Small)
Players:      2
Type:         Strategy
Scrap Count:  Exactly 200, divided fairly
Geysers:      42 !
Powerups:     This is strategy - build an armoury. It will not necessarily
launch everything where you want it due to the terrain.
However, I suspect that it will launch stuff right most of the
time, especially if you put it on a hill.

Description:

This map may be small but it is probably my most elaborate and symmetrical.
Usually when I create a map it is of the one level canyon maze category,
like misn06 (Escape from Mars) and misn13 (Total destruction). This map is
two level throughout, as there is a route up onto every hill. In this way it
is something like my Large Achilles Map, only one sixteenth the area. I tested
the routes up the hills with subordinate units during the editing and all
hills passed the tests. A computer pilot’s APC successfully found and used all
routes up and down. I called this version 1.1 because the initial version,
multst78, had annoying lightning and thunder effects that would give me a
headache if I didn’t press the mute button. I deleted that part of the new trn.

A howitzer on your side can shell the enemy base something like in Activision™’s
Big Venus Map. Also, sniping could have potential. When I played this against my
brother William, I found a pair of turrets at each end of the central pass can
provide adequate defence, but they will need to be repaired or replaced at times.
